At ‘Discon 2010’, the 3140 District Conference
Making their presence felt. Several members of the Rotary Club of Bombay attended the District Conference of R.I. District 3140 which was held on February 6 and 7.
Among those who can be spotted in these pictures are Nirav Shah, Madhusudan Daga, Nowroze Vazifdar, Alok Sekhsaria, Hon. Secretary Shivkumar Israni, Roda Billimoria, Sitaram Shah, Manojj Kumar Patodia, IPP Ashish Vaid, President Nandan Damani and President-Elect Pradeep Saxena.
The second picture also features Pranay Vakil, S.K. Mitra, the Club’s Executive Secretary, Mr. Eruch Irani, and PP Sandip Agarwalla.
As already reported, the Rotary Club of Bombay picked up ten District Awards at ‘Discon 2010’ for its performance dur ing the year 2008-2009 under the stewardship of President Ashish Vaid. These included seven trophies/shields and three certificates of appreciation.
One of the highlights of the District Conference was the focus on the Rotary Club of Bombay and its outstanding ‘Bhavishya-Yaan’ project.
The Club set up a special counter at the Conference venue where it provided information about this project and answered queries raised by the members of several Rotary Clubs.
