An interact club is sponsored, organized and supervised by a Rotary Club and is established following endorsement on certification by District Governor and recognition by Rotary International. Students at the secondary school between age group of 14 and 18 years can become the members of Interact Club.

An The Iinteract Clubs sponsored by the RCB meet should have meetings at least twice a month. The interact club is expected to They serve the local community and to work towards promotinge world understanding.

First Interact Club was organized in 1962 by Rotary Club of Melbourne, Florida USA.

The Rotary Club of Bombay has sponsored 27 Interact Clubs with appriximately 650 members which may be the record number of Interact Clubs sponsored by any Rotary Club.

At the meeting of the District Governor with the Partners in Service of the Rotary Club of Bombay on Tuesday, August 18, none of the Interact Clubs was likely to be present. This was on account of the closure of all educational institutions ordered by the authorities in view of the impact of swine flu.
The Interact Club of Bharda New High School hosted a joint installation ceremony for the Interact Clubs of six schools in its hall on July 30.
Shivshankar Wadke of St. Xavier’s High School, Fort, and Manasi Jhaveri of Gopi Birla Memorial School have won top honours (all-India level) at the Fourth National Essay Competition held during the last Rotary year.
